During the peak of the attacks by the Red Palm Weevil, which kills almost all the palm trees in the central region, through an interview in the newspaper “Região de Leiria” we had the opportunity to present the panorama of the problem in Portugal, and more particularly in the neighbouring counties from Leiria. We thus shared our knowledge in order to contribute to the rapid diagnosis of this pest by private and municipal owners.
